It remains important that we continue to do everything possible to conserve energy. Together we can make a significant difference by following the energy conservation tips at work and home. A number of programs are offered to encourage us to reduce our energy usage and help lower our energy costs. An Internet based Rebate and Demand Reduction Program Database is available on-line at Consumer Energy Center. Rebate and savings programs can be viewed on their websites at Southern California Edison, LA Department of Water & Power and Southern California Gas Company. The following are examples of these programs.

Governor's 20/20 Rebate Program - California's 20/20 Rebate Program has returned by order of Gov. Gray Davis to reward residential customers of California investor-owned utilities, including Southern California Edison (SCE), who save energy this summer. From July 1 to October 29, 2002, the 20/20 program will give you, as an SCE customer, an automatic 20% discount on your electricity charges for each month in which you reduce your average daily use of electricity by 20%, compared to the corresponding month two years ago, in 2000..
