The Los Angeles County Strategic Plan

I am pleased to present the County of Los Angeles Strategic Plan, initially approved by the County Board of Supervisors in November 1999, with complete updates approved by the Board in December 2002 and March 2005, and minor updates in March and June 2006. To keep the Plan relevant, it is important to periodically assess progress, review strategic issues impacting the County, and evaluate the need for changes. The next major update is targeted for 2008, and the County family is currently pursuing this objective.
